And God Said

It is said that God works in mysterious ways,

In the beginning, God created the heavens and earth in six days,

And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

God created and separated the light and darkness into two quarters,

The greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night.

God set the stars in the firmament of heaven to shine bright.

God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature,

He created great whales, and what entered the mind of God would feature

That it would produce after his kind and so on the winged fowl also the same

The earth brought forth grass, the herb yielding seed and the tree yielding seed came

Into existence whose seed was of itself, after his kind, God saw it as good,

Whatever God says, it did happen as He said it would,

God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply

Filling the waters of the seas and fowl produce after its kind did simplify,

And God said Let the earth bring forth every living creature after his kind.

From the beginning, this was God’s plan as it entered in His mind,

That every creeping thing upon the earth after his kind,

Praise God for his plan that when man came into existence they would find,

That what God has made, He saw that it was good,

God is alive and his presence in us enables us to be prude.

And God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness.

The glory of God in all its splendor shines in all brightness,

For the world to see that He sent His Son to die for you and me,

The dear Lamb of God left His glory above To bear the cross to dark Calvary.

It is written that man was created in His image, In the image of God, He created him.

Male and female, He created them. God’s thoughts and ways never grow dim,

They shine bright as the sun and will never lose its sustaining power,

To provide for our every need, on every day at every hour.

We witness this of what is written that God said, I have given you the herb-bearing seed,

And every tree, which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed, which shall be for meat for us to feed

That we should not take advantage of God’s grace and mercy when He gives us what we need.

The Power of God abled to bring what was spoken into existence for all to see,

This poem is my way to thank you God and use my life as a testimony that is God is real, and He has always provided for me.

I hear from the scriptures in Psalms 37:25, I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

God has always taken care of his people, and no other book will you find the voice of God than in the Bible, so open up your mind and heart because you will spiritually fed.
