In our world, we have things that can beset us, and make us forget why we are here.
These same things can make us question our faith and fill our lives with fear.
We must not let the devil get into minds and change what we have learned and obeyed.
The devil will always be a liar and we know God is love compared to the way Satan has Him portrayed.
He is a deceiver and we have to be on guard from when the light is shining and in the darkest hour.
We must be sober, vigilant, because our adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
We have to know the tricks of the devil and how he uses those closest to us to get us to deny.
In the Book of Job, his wife says Dost thou still retain thy integrity? Curse God and die.
Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of our minds.
We know that it is the devil is the author of confusion, and the hearts he intends to blind races of all kinds.
He does not have any loyalty to no one and does not care what destruction he leaves behind,
Satan only cares about seeking for more subjects to do his bidding and disrupt mankind.
The true meaning of free will gives us the right to not to follow after the devil and do the right thing.
As I take my daily walk and as I press play on my iPod and through my headphones I hear Warren Blakney Sr. sing,
Yield not to temptation, For yielding is sin, Each victory will help you Some other to win;
Fight manfully onward, Dark passions subdue, Look ever to Jesus; He’ll carry you through.
Ask the Savior to help you, Comfort, strengthen, and keep you;
He is willing to aid you, He will carry you through.
This selection would definately be included in Marcel's finished product. The setting is sincere, the quatations in your title Marcel, show the experience you have with the theme in this poem, whereby the audience may trust the message. The imagery at the closure of this selection is well placed, and is vivid, and delighful, encouraging, uplifting; good reminder that God will carry us through. Brilliant work here!
